2nd August 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 20-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: 26.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 18.3 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Started off nicely powered with my 5m sail and big wave board. The wind gradually picked up throughout the whole session until it was just too much to handle and I was blown off the water when it reached around 30 knots.... A smaller board would have helped. Lots of nice duck gybes ealy in in the session and some mad speed runs back into the beach. No one out but me. |
